Update #15 - Participating in the Real-Time-Strategy Fest on Steam (and the Mistakes I made)
I’m thrilled to share that Quartermaster, my WWI logistics sim and personal hobby project, has officially made it into Steam’s Real-Time Strategy Fest!
This game has been a labor of love, focusing on the unsung role of wartime logistics. It’s a real-time simulation where you’ll manage resources, coordinate supplies, and tackle the challenges of keeping the frontlines running—all through a text-based interface.
The journey has been incredible so far. Steam reviewed and approved the page, which means Quartermaster is now live on the store! There’s no demo yet—just a “Coming Soon” page with a few makeshift screenshots—but it’s enough to get started.
I’ll be spending the next couple of days polishing things and diving into Steam’s festival dynamics to learn as much as I can about how it all works. This is both exciting and nerve-wracking, but I’m ready to take the challenge head-on!
Thank you all for the amazing support—you’ve helped me make this happen! Stay tuned as we move forward, and let’s see where this journey takes us.
And of course: Wishlist the game.
